Client Review
"From the moment Alina and I arrived at the Wilderness Beach House Backpackers, we were introduced to Trevor from Cape Vibe Tours. We immediately felt a sense of relief that this charming and friendly chap would be our chaperone for our five-day Garden Route adventure. That first night he took us into the local town where we ended up dining at one of his recommendations – The Girls’ restaurant. The food and atmosphere were out of this world and we knew immediately that Trevor knew the town like the palm of his hand. Morning came and he was promptly on time to take us to the Sedgefield Farmers’ Market – another bohemian delight of our journey. But it was the Monday excursion to Oudtshoorn (there and back in his reliable vehicle for only R1000 for the entire day) that really sealed the deal for both of us. During the hour-long car journey there we learnt all about the History and Geography of the area as we cruised through the majestic Outeniqua Mountain Range. So informative and whimsically entertaining was he that by the time we arrived at the Cango Caves, we had lost all track of time. After lunch at a watering-hole we ended up at the Wildlife Conservation Sanctuary where we met Malcolm the stork and Xena the cheetah, amongst other interesting creatures, and learnt the importance of the rehabilitation of animals at risk. The car journey back was tranquil and reflective. Wednesday came and it was time to say goodbye. Trevor had become so much a part of our experience that saying adios felt bittersweet. We both feel blessed to have met such a personable, sweet, affordable and dependable tour guide and would highly recommend Cape Vibe Tours for anyone looking for a budget trip of a lifetime."- Petula
